Heidi Frost
Project Coordinator

As a person who was raised in Alaska, Heidi Frost considers herself a life long Alaskan.  She has been in the disability community as a disability advocate for the past 9 years, first working with the Alaska Works Initiative as the Business Liaison, then moving over to the Governor’s Council to work as a Project Coordinator.  She works to improve the system so youth can transition to adulthood with supports, regardless of setting; works to improve the workforce and work setting for direct service professionals; and works to encourage businesses to hire people with disabilities. 

Heidi has three Associate of Arts degrees and a Bachelors of Science degree.  She proudly served in the United States Air Force for 12 years.  She has been married to her beau, Steve, for almost 25 years and they have two wonderful boys.  James, 22, a student at UAF and husband to Jessica; and Christopher, 18, a student at UAA.
